Together for Change

Practical care starts with a clear plan

Shepherd Aid is developing practical support plans for children and families facing hardship. Potential areas include school supplies, food support and community partnerships. Each activity should have a named partner, a defined budget, a delivery plan and a dated report before we describe it as completed.

See the educational planning example, or contact us about volunteering and partnership opportunities.

Areas we are planning

Learning and school essentials. Proposed support could include notebooks, bags and learning materials. A plan would identify learners, an appropriate school partner, supplier quotes and how delivery would be recorded. Explore practical gift ideas.

Food and family essentials. A proposed project would confirm needs with a local partner, choose suitable items, define quantities and agree safe distribution. Costs and delivery evidence should be recorded before outcomes are reported.

Community partnerships. Churches and local groups can help understand needs, coordinate volunteers and shape responsible plans. See ways to take part.

From plan to report. Our intended process is to confirm the need, agree a budget, record delivery and publish a dated update. These are areas being developed, not claims of active or completed programmes. Before giving, read our donation information and ask us to confirm the current project and recipient.
